| Wind him up and this talented elephant will spin his propeller to
entertain you. The balls rotate upwards on the helix and fall
right into the elephant's hoop. Everyone will enjoy this special
toy. Made in Germany and fun
to watch! It comes with three little wooden basketballs, red,
yellow and green. They
run down the ramp, are lifted up by the worm wire to the top where
they tumble out and drop through the hoop and start over. The
propeller on top of his head spins all the while. As foolproof as
this looks the elephant misses once in a while! This is typical of
the quality of workmanship of the German craftsmen and the beauty
of their lithography. It measures 8 inches long and 9-3/4 inches
high. Nice toy! This is a classic tin windup toy that is hand made
and hand assembled. The tin lithographed parts are held together
with tin tabs that are inserted into slots and bent by hand to
hold in place. It is packaged in a brown cardboard box that is not
suitable for display. Some of the parts will pierce the box during
