| Wind it up, flip the switch and watch as the elephant balances the
planes on its trunk as they spin around. This is a classic tin
windup toy that is hand made and hand assembled. The tin
lithographed parts are held together with tin tabs that are
inserted into slots and bent by hand to hold in place. Sometimes
during shipping some parts may come loose so some assembly is
required. The key is attached at the base. There is an on / off
switch on the side. The packaging is not suitable for display and
is only used to keep the parts together. Some of the parts will
pierce the box during shipping. For this reason it should be
considered unboxed. The part most likely to need assembly is the
tin ball or tin globe that is held between the elephant's front
legs. The tin globe is featured in the image shown but most ship
with a tin ball. The ball is held in place with pressure and
sometimes hot glued in place for shipping. |
